JSPP Research Grant
About the Grant
The JSPP Research Grant is a funding program provided by the Japanese Society of Psychosomatic Pediatrics (JSPP) to support high-quality research that contributes to the advancement of both basic and clinical research in pediatric psychosomatic medicine.
The grant aims to foster the development of research in this field and promote scientific activities among JSPP members.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a member of JSPP with at least five consecutive years of membership, and
- Fulfill one of the following criteria:
- Have presented as first author at two or more JSPP Annual Meetings, or
- Hold certification as a JSPP Certified Specialist (Physician or Psychologist).
Funding Details
- Grant amount: Up to JPY 300,000 per project
- Number of awards: Three projects annually
- Special note: At least one recipient must be under 50 years old at the time of application.
- Report requirements:
- Submission of a final research and financial report within two years
- Presentation of results at a JSPP Annual Meeting within three years
Application & Selection Process
- Applications must be submitted via the designated form by the deadline announced each year.
- Proposals are reviewed and scored by a multidisciplinary selection committee.
- Final decisions are approved by the JSPP Board of Directors.
- Results will be announced at the Annual Meeting and on the JSPP website.
